Year 2 is an empowering time for kids: they begin to understand the world around them in new ways as their reading skill set expands.

Kids around this age are typically entering the final phase of phonics instruction, applying the skills they've learned so far to new content, and improving fluency and reading comprehension. Kids who still need some phonics revision will find our Foolproof Phonics Part 2 printable useful. Foolproof Phonics takes kids through the different levels of phonics learning and the terms they need to know, exactly the way they do it in school, and Part 2 continues where Part 1 left off. Although it is aimed at Year 1 pupils, it may still be helpful for older kids. These printables are engaging and fun, and take the stress out of learning letter-sound correspondences.
