Using the microphone on their device, children become the guest of honour, chatting directly to Armie and receiving fun, clever responses that make new words come alive. It’s a simple, playful way to bridge the gap between learning vocabulary in a game and owning those words in conversation.

Practice speaking – Ask Armie encourages kids to express their ideas clearly and use vocabulary confidently, building oracy skills.
Use words in context – Rather than just memorising definitions, children talk to Armie about the things they’ve discovered in Word Tag, reinforcing understanding through real conversation.
Engaging and imaginative – The experience feels like a late‑night talk show, with Armie’s “ears perked with interest” and witty replies that keep kids curious.

Safety you can trust

We designed Ask Armie from the ground up to keep kids safe while letting them explore language. Every message goes through multi‑layered safety checks before Armie responds. The system immediately intervenes on critical issues such as crisis language, abuse disclosures or requests to meet in person, filters out age‑inappropriate topics and personal information, and uses contextual intelligence to distinguish normal childhood talk from harmful content. Responses are tiered: low‑level issues are gently redirected to safe topics, medium‑level concerns are met with age‑appropriate explanations, and any critical issue triggers an immediate escalation and may pause the conversation.

If children ask about privacy, Armie provides honest, age‑appropriate answers, explaining that parents or guardians can access conversation history for safety. Technical safeguards such as message‑length validation, audio‑duration limits and rate‑limiting help prevent spam or abuse. All exchanges are logged for quality and safety monitoring and personal information is redacted.
